Frank Williams, Jr.​​

In June, 1967, Mr. Williams came to Bethel with considerable formal training and experience. Initially, Mr. Williams was placed in charge of the Youth, Cathedral, and Children Choirs. Additionally, he organized the Young Adult Choir.
Mr. Williams received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Music from Xavier University in Louisiana and has done graduate study in numerous educational institutions. He is popularly known as a master musician with a flair for the soulful and rhythmic.
Under the direction of Mr. Williams, the Bethelameans (Young Adult Choir) achieved a high level of musical excellence, performing music ranging from classical oratorios to contemporary gospel selections. The Bethelameans earned many accolades. They performed in such places as the Ahmason Theater, The Scottish Rite Auditorium, and countless other auditoriums, churches, etc..

Mr. Williams is a member of Musicians In Action, "an organization uniquely designed for gospel musicians, music ministers, and members of church music leadership teams" (www.musiciansinaction.net), and the Gospel Music Workshop of America. He is well-known and highly respected by his peers and other members of the religious music community for his talent and thorough teaching techniques.
